Hello, CLIC! My name is Lindsay LaVine and I am a lawyer by day, humorist by night here in Chicago. I have attended your open mic Jills at Jack’s and really like what you are doing! I noticed that you offer monthly workshops, and I wanted to pitch my workshop to you. It’s called “What Every Performer Should Know About Intellectual Property.” In a nutshell, it’s how to protect your work and minimize the chance for legal issues down the road. I most recently presented it during the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston last week. Here’s a link to learn more: http://www.womenincomedyfestival.com/workshops If you think this is something your members would find useful, please contact me at llavine@gmail.com. Thank you, and have a great week!
Best,
Lindsay
