If you’ve ever attended our monthly stand-up night, Jills at Jack’s, you’ve probably heard a bit of smack talk on the subject of Zooey Deschanel. It’s mostly frustration about her constant reminders of her own wackiness, or confusion at how we’re possibly supposed to believe that her happy-go-lucky attitude makes her a huge dork, despite her supermodel beauty. Annoying!

It seems as if Zooey gets it, too, if Saturday Night Live is any indication. On the Valentine’s Day episode earlier this month, she took part in a sketch hosted by…herself. Sort of. “Bein Quirky With Zooey Deschanel” has Abby Elliot playing a quirky-to-the-max version of Zooey. Zooey plays Mary Kate Olsen, somehow managing to channel Olsen’s just by appearence by pursing her lips and donning a wig.

Zooey is a lady in comedy herself, so CLiC supports her. We especially support her poking fun at her own goofy image. Enjoy!
